University of Bordeaux Montaigne has always been a destination of choice for students from overseas of all origins. Each year, there are approximately 120 different nationalities among students enrolled at the university.

Course Offerings

The university offers an intensive course of French as a Foreign Language in July. It is open to all levels. Teaching includes 20 hours of weekly classes, across 4 weeks, which amounts to 80 hours of classes for the whole session.

The Campus

Thanks to the tram network, the university campus has been brought closer to the heart of the city center of Bordeaux. Since June 2007, the city of Bordeaux has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in recognition of the unity of its exceptional urban heritage.

Exploring France 

Bordeaux is a fantastic place to live, with countless cultural venues across the wider metropolitan area offering concerts and performances of the highest quality. The city is just three hours from Paris by TGV and lies at the heart of the stunning Aquitaine region, with its celebrated vineyards and pine forests, ocean coastline, and lofty mountains.

Summer School 

This popular program is open to international students from around the world who would like to study during the summer and experience French culture.
