  1. Saab Center for Portuguese Studies Summer in Lisbon Scholarship - UMass Lowell students are eligible to apply for an award. Students will receive application after admittance.
  2. Study Abroad Departmental Scholarships - $500-1000 average awards; Apply through River Hawk Scholarship Portal:
  3. Majors in World Languages and Cultures can apply for the departmental scholarship:
  4. Pell Grant Recipients/Eligible - Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship has partnered with Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD) in establishing the Gilman-FLAD Portugal Scholarship, a highly selective award for underrepresented U.S. students to study in Portugal through the Study in Portugal Network (SiPN). Students also have the opportunity to study Portuguese, a critical need language. Deadline is March 09 for applications. Learn more & apply:
