Program Description:
UMass Dartmouth has sent volunteer teams with this organization very successfully for a number of years. Partners in Development (PID) operates a family program in the Blanchard neighborhood, Port au Prince, Haiti. Students and faculty will stay on site in a secured area, with a guard present during their entire stay. Any experiences that take place outside the gates of Partners in Development are chaperoned by a PID employee. The Assistant Field Director on site is a UMass Dartmouth graduate.

Program Dates: March 7 - 15, 2019

This is a component of a 3 credit course and registration is by permission of the instructor.

Study Abroad Travel Requirement
Students participating in faculty-led programs must travel with the group on the pre-determined dates of the program.
