Program Costs (in USD): Costs paid to UMass Lowell consist of the Program Fee and Tuition/Registration Fee. The Program Fee includes all inclusions listed below.
- Program Fee**: $3,175.00
- Deposit requirement: $550.00 (this is payable towards the program fee, not on top of fee)
- UMass Lowell Tuition/Registration: $1050 (3 credits) - Division of Online & Continuing Education Tuition & Fees see here: https://gps.uml.edu/tuition
- Tuition and Program Fee - billed to the student via the student billing system in SiS. All student charges follow the University semester bill due dates.
- Program Fee - you'll pay the deposit of $550 once you are accepted (late Oct/early Nov) and then you'll be billed the balance of the program fee to your Sis account.
- Personal Spending - Students are encouraged to plan for $500 for personal spending money (two measl daily and free time expenses/needs.)
- Round trip airfare, Boston to London, London to Boston
**Program Fee Inclusions:
- Hotel accommodations, double occupancy, breakfast daily
- 4 Group meals - arrival evening, 1 during the first weekend, 1 during the 2nd week and 1 farewell meal on the last night
- Oyster card (transportation pass) with 55pounds-worth fare loaded + enough to travel to/from airport
- Guided tour of Parliament
- Tour of Westminster Abbey
- Musical entry in the West End
- Site visits to Pentonville Prison, Highbury Magistrates's Court & Old Bailey Crown Court
- Guest lecturers such as Counter-terrorism division of London Metropolitan Police Force, among others.
- UMass International accident & emergency insurance
- Pre-departure orientation
- Faculty support on-site
1. Students are automatically eligible for the Dean's Office Study Abroad Scholarship once they sign-up and are accepted to enroll. Award amounts are $500-1000 on average. The office of study abroad will work with students once they are confirmed for enrollment
