Notes:
Tuition & fees: This program offers 3 or 6 credits (your choice).  Tuition is charged to your SIS account during the summer term.
  • Undergraduate Costs (listed in above Budget Items): $340/credit + $30 registration fee.  3credits = $1050, 6 credits,= $2070
  • Graduate Costs: $575/credit + $30 registration fee. 3 credits = $1755, 6 credits = $3480
Program fee: $1250, billed via SIS along with summer bills (late April/early May)
  • Program fee includes:
    • Pre-departure orientation
    • On-site assistance
    • Housing (single or double suite style dorms at Charles University)
    • Breakfast daily
    • Airport Transfers in Prague
    • Cultural Events, Ballet/Opera/Boat trip
    • 2 day trips to local historical tourist sites
    • Insurance for overseas medical expenses, medical evacuation and repatriation
Out-of-pocket:
  • Round-trip air - students will be asked to book flights in March. Do NOT book any flights until instructed by the study abroad office as they will provide you a specific itinerary to follow as it is preferred to have students travel as a group (not required, but preferred.)
  • Spending money/lunch & dinner daily - students should plan for $300-800 for personal spending.  This is simply recommended and not required.

Scholarships:
  • The College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences will offer the "Dean's World Ready Scholarship" to all students in the college applying to this faculty-led course with travel. 
  • Scholarship awards are $500-1000 and apply directly towards the Program Fee costs.
