What's Included (activities/Excursions subject to change):Tuition:
- Summer - 6-12 credits of transfer course (if needing in-residence this is possible please let the study abroad office know)
- Books & supplies
- Single occupancy accommodations in residence hall with private bathroom, mini-fridge, laundry available on-site, wifi, recreational center (gym), lounge space
- 3 meals per day (excluding Sundays)
- International health insurance and international emergency & accident insurance
- Local bus pass (10 courtesy rides)
- Airport transfers Jerez to Cadiz & return
- On-site orientation: Guided walking tour of the city through the most emblematic areas of the historical city.
- Cooking instruction: (session 1). Demonstration of typical plates of the region with meal to follow.
- 1 in-class music/dance culture workshop on Flamenco (session 1)
- El Puerto de Santa Maria: (Session 2) Travel by catamaran passenger boat to visit a local winery, the medieval castle “Castillo San Marcos”, for wine tasting (Sherry wines)
- Local visits to Cadiz museums (session 1 and 2)
- Tastings of Tapas Tipicas (session 2)
- Round trip airfare is purchased on your own by end of March. Please talk with the Office of Study Abroad for further information as a specific itinerary will be provided due to airport transfers in Spain. Students who do not purchase and provide a copy of the flight itinerary/receipt by end of April may be dropped from the program.
- Recommended travel money to bring: $300-500 for personal spending money per session
- WLSP 3110 course option in session II is an additional $1050 billed via SIS in mid-summer (see Online & Continuing Education website for latest cost per credit/fees) - optional add-on for Session 2
