NOTE: This is a Reciprocal Exchange Program. This means that for semester programs room and board will be paid to the host institution but tuition, fees, and other expenses will be paid to UML. For summer or winter programs all fees will be paid to the host institution and not to UML.

The Campus

Modena is a friendly city with an interesting history where visitors can discover ancient aspects and music in the city theaters. It is famous for its gastronomy, its quality of life, the internationally famous Ferrari car factory and related museums, as well as for being the birthplace of Luciano Pavarotti.

Exploring Italy

When you are in Modena or Reggio Emilia, the Romagna Riviera, famous throughout Europe for its beaches and nightlife, is only an hour and a half by car or train. Those preferring the mountains can enjoy the 50 km of ski trails in Monte Cimone, the largest ski resort in the Northern Apennines.
